The Message 'Christ at the Checkpoint' Didn't Want to Hear

Historian: Israel safest place in Mideast for Christians

The upcoming third bi-annual Christ at the Checkpoint conference in Bethlehem bills itself as a platform for dialogue and reconciliation between Israeli and Palestinian believers. But it has been revealed that there are certain Israeli voices the organizers have no interest in hearing.

In late 2010, just a little over a year prior to the second Christ at the Checkpoint, Israeli tour guide Kay Wilson and her visiting Christian friend, Kristine Luken, were attacked by Palestinian terrorists outside Jerusalem. Luken was killed, while Wilson miraculously survived, despite severe injuries.

Wilson writes in The Times of Israel that having recovered from the attack, she approached one of the Christ at the Checkpoint organizers about speaking at the 2012 convocation, only to be rebuffed because for the hundreds of other participants to hear her story was "not what the Lord wants."

To be sure, there were other Israeli and Messianic speakers at the gathering, but none were direct victims of Palestinian terrorism, and all could be counted on to be overtly diplomatic or to avoid confronting the Palestinian nationalist agenda entirely.

This revelation by Kay Wilson is further evidence of what some in the Israeli Messianic body have been saying all along: that the reconciliation most of those involved with Christ at the Checkpoint want involves the Jews, on bended knee, begging for forgiveness for daring to hold fast to God's promises regarding their inheritance of this land.

Any voice that would too strongly challenge that outcome is, apparently, unwelcome.

Wilson goes on to wonder how any Israeli, and we would add any Israeli Messianic believer, could justify participating in a conference that has chosen to associate itself with theologians advocating Replacement Theology and Palestinian officials with clear ties to recognized terrorist organizations.

"For any self-respecting person, and especially for Israelis such as myself, the endorsement of terror by association, at a Christian conference, is obscene," she writes.

Wilson makes a number of other excellent points regarding Christ at the Checkpoint and its headlininheadlining organizers and speakers. Click Here to read the whole article.

Replacement theology fits the liberal ideology to a "T." They go out like roaring lions seeking whom they may devour, but there is a Lion from the tribe of Judah in their path. He will not be devoured, nor will they stand against Him. As with all the enemies of God, they will fall at His feet and be cast into the lake of fire.

The “Christ” at that checkpoint is an antichrist. He wears a suicide vest and wants to do harm. Wisdom is needed on how to deal with these wolves in sheep’s clothing.
It was a sad day when Bethlehem was handed over to the PA. Their tactic of shooting at the IDF from Christian properties achieved their goal of reducing the Christian presence there. Follow the link and read Kay Wilson’s blog, CATC just reinforces the Islamic message that Palestinians (and everyone else) can only be victims and must submit to an insidious Islamic rule.

Israel cares for Palestinians and Israeli-Arabs

Israel cares for Palestinians and Israeli-Arabs

Israel again demonstrated its humanitarian nature this week when two pregnant Palestinian women from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip were cared for at Haifa’s Rambam Health Care Campus, which has special facilities for treating the complications in their pregnancies. One of the Palestinian women gave birth prematurely and her child was diagnosed with a serious heart condition, which was successfully treated by Israeli doctors. Another 35 year old Palestinian woman gave birth to twins and was also treated for a congenital blood clot which threatened to make childbirth a fatal experience, but instead was a joyful one thanks to the Israeli medical team which treated her. Meanwhile, a program was announced this week to donate thousands of Arabic books to schoolchildren to encourage them to read.

The new national program, called Maktabat al-Fanoos (“Lantern Library”), was launched by the Education Ministry in collaboration with the Massachusetts- based Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the California-based Price Family Charitable Fund. It will involve giving one book a month for four months to over 45,000 Israeli-Arab children in 1,750 kindergartens nationwide during the coming school year.

“I am proud that as of today, Arab society in Israel can also enjoy the highest quality program to encourage children to read, and instill in them a love of books, which is key to future success in school,” Education Minister Shai Piron said.

“We hope to empower teachers and parents to enjoy together with children magical hours of reading, conversation and activities,” Galina Vromen, director of Israel operations for the Massachusetts-based Harold Grinspoon Foundation and director of Maktabat al-Fanoos and the Hebrew equivalent, Sifriyat Pijama. “In the Arabic sector there a lot of homes that don’t have books, and through this program, children will receive different books so that over a period of two to three years, from pre-school and through kindergarten, they can build a nice collection.”

It wasn’t all good news this week however, as the Arab neighborhood of Sharafat in southern Jerusalem was targeted by another so-called “price tag” attack early Wednesday morning, with the tires of 30 cars slashed and racist graffiti spray-painted on neighborhood buildings.

Rambam Medical Center in Haifa performed life-saving brain surgery on a Syrian child, releasing him this week, the hospital announced Thursday.

After arriving at the hospital in critical condition from Syria, the child's father told doctors, "Please save him, he's all I have left."

According to a press release, the child was released earlier this week on his own feet and walking.

A month and a half ago, the family's home was leveled, killing the boy's mother and sister.

The child was evacuated with his eleven year old brother and father to the border and from there to the Rambam Medical Center. The brother died en-route to the hospital.

The boy was immediately rushed into surgery upon arriving at the hospital. The force of the explosion had caused severe swelling of the brain, leading to severe intra-cranial pressure which needed to be relieved by removing parts of the skull. The removal of parts from the boy's skull made room for his swollen brain while it healed.

The child was unconscious for nearly three weeks in the pediatric intensive care ward, carefully monitored by the staff, while the pressure was slowly reduced. The boy finally regained consciousness and began to communicate.

“When the child came to Rambam he was comatose and almost dead,” said Dr. Sergey Abeshaus, a Senior Neurosurgeon at Rambam, who also performed the surgery. “I remember I met with the father before surgery and he said to us, 'Do all you can to save him, he is all I have left.'”

After undergoing two more surgeries to reattach the bones in his skull, the boy was moved to the pediatric surgery unit. A speech therapist, nose-ear-throat specialist, physiotherapist and others then worked with him via a variety of exams and therapies to help him regain as much normal function as possible. Three days ago he was released into his father’s care, standing on his feet.

“As the only Level 1 trauma center for Northern Israel, and one of the largest hospitals in the country, Rambam has a lot of experience dealing with these types of injuries,” Dr. Abeshaus stated.

The doctor added, "We parted from the child's father as good friends. Eventually we did exactly as he had asked—we did all we could do to save [his son]. We hope he has a very long and happy life.”

Palestinian youth are murders by rocks

Palestinian Rock Throwers Destroy Child’s Life

A few days ago, Adva Biton testified at the trial of a Palestinian man accused of throwing the rocks that put her three year-old daughter Adele in hospital until today. Her life, she told the court, changed dramatically on that tragic night.

Rock throwers disabled three-year-old Adele Biton.

In March 2013, Adva Biton was driving with her three daughters on her way home near Ariel. As she was driving, a Palestinian minor threw rocks at the truck in front of her car. The truck stopped suddenly and Adva did not have time to react. She collided directly with the truck. Adva’s five- and four-year-old daughters were lightly injured, but her three-year-old old daughter Adele was injured critically.

“All her joy, all her life was taken from her at the age of three,” Adva said during her testimony in court.

Her baby remains in the hospital until today, and requires the constant presence of Adva or her husband. “I am not home anymore, I am not available for my three kids,” she said. “I’m supposed to be a mother but I live in Levenstein Hospital. My husband has not really been home in over 10 months. He doesn’t sleep at home at all. It’s like you have no family.”

“To see a child connected to a million pipes is very difficult. Her life has been destroyed because of rock throwing. It is difficult for me to cope with the fact that my daughter will be handicapped in every way because of such an act. It’s a daily trauma when you see your child gasping with her head hanging down and you can’t do anything.”

Jordanian sheikh causes stir with claims Israel belongs to Jews

Sheikh Ahmed Aladoan, who visited Israel last year, based his assertions that Palestinian claims to Israel are false on the Koran.

By Haaretz | Feb. 21, 2014 | 1:10 PM | 39

A sheikh from Jordan's prominent Adwan tribe caused a stir recently when he said that Israel belongs to the Jews, and that Palestinian claims to the territory are false.
Sheikh Ahmed Aladoan of Amman, who made the remarks on his Facebook page, based his assertions on the Koran. In a post earlier this month he said that those who "distort the word of the Koran" are liars, and questioned the origins of the word Palestine.

"Allah is the protector of the Children of Israel," he insisted, also saying that there was no such place as Palestine.

The Muslim cleric also accused Palestinians of violence, saying that they kill children, the elderly and women, that they hide behind human shields and have no mercy for their own children.

The sheikh's remarks reportedly caused controversy in the Arab media, and the Adwan tribe released a statement distancing themselves from the assertions.

Last year, Sheikh Aladoan came to Israel, and paid a visit to Safed Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu. The visit was filmed by Orot TV in Israel. The Jordanian told the rabbi “there is no name ‘Palestine’ for this land," in the Koran, and that the Arabs should not therefore fight for the land.

According to the U.K.-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, the cleric's supports the idea that Jordan is Palestine, and he believes that many Arabs, including Palestinians in the West Bank, would like to be Israeli citizens.

The Children Are Our Future, Unless They’re Muslim

By Audrey Russo / 22 February 2014 / 14 Comments

“I believe the children are our are future, Teach them well and let them lead the way.” Lyrics from “Greatest Love of All”

The AMA award-winning song, the “Greatest Love of All” was lauded by Leftists worldwide in the late 80s. Sadly, even the first two lines of the song are neither believed by them nor by one of their current victim projects: Muslims.

We have heard from politicos/world media, ad nauseum, that all peoples of the world share the same values. Well, if your IQ is 3 points lower than a grapefruit, you believe that.

Only in the West are children valued as human beings (well, conservatives actually value them at conception, but I digress). Under Islam, children enjoy just about the same rights as women: None.

Here’s just a partial list of life for Children under Islam:
– Children are chattel (property).
– Children own nothing, all is owned by the male head of the family.
– Children are habitually enslaved under Islam (a great deal of which occurs in Africa).
– Children continue to be the victims of sexual abuse.
– Female children are brutally circumcised.
– Children are brainwashed by the mantra of the Adhan, which is the Muslim call to prayer…and it says: “God is great, there is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Come to prayer.” This is the crux is Islam, acknowledging Allah and Muhammad as the Muslim paragon. They hear this prayer roughly 1,800 times a year (54,000 times by the time they reach the age of 30)
– Since they’re property and they have been sufficiently brainwashed since birth, they are the perfect human weapon against the infidel, and/or the West.
– They are also programmed to hate. In particular, Jews. A 2011 report by Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education, (regarding school textbooks in the Middle East) revealed that Egyptian school children are taught Christians and Jews are infidels. And for many years textbooks in Palestinian schools have rejected Israel’s right to exist, and have portrayed a Middle East in maps and through text without the nation of Israel on them.
– Palestinian Media Watch, found this in a 12th grade Palestinian textbook: “Palestine’s war ended with a catastrophe that is unprecedented in history, when the Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people from their cities, their villages, their lands and their houses, and established the State of Israel.”
– Over 300 Palestinian children (and counting) have been used in terrorist attacks against Jews.
– Human rights groups and NGOs place the number of abducted children in Africa, held by the Muslim terror group LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) at least 3,000.

The hatred for children influenced by this ideology has exhibited itself in myriad ways. In 2002, when “Palestinian” officials dismissed the infamous Baby Bomber photo as a joke, a “Palestinian” journalist in the Hebron area said she did not believe the picture was a fake and expressed surprise at the furor it caused in Israel:

“I can find you many, many photos like this,” she said. “Many kids imitate adults and wear toy masks and guns, especially during marches. It’s not strange at all”. She added that she had seen children as young as the one in the photograph wearing similar costumes: “In our society it happens a lot. It’s a kind of phenomenon.” (“PA minister: Israelis shouldn’t be shocked by ‘baby bomber’ pic”, Haaretz, published June 29, 2002 [online copy, December 6, 2005])

Amb. Dore Gold (at that time PM Sharon’s adviser) said that the picture “symbolizes the hatred and incitement which the Palestinian leadership has been feeding a whole generation of Palestinian youths.” (Even our U.S. State Department, via spokesman Richard Boucher, stated that he considered the image as “a highly objectionable display.”)

This is the Muslim worldview. This is NOT our worldview. The twain will NEVER meet.

So, children may be the future for the Judeo-Christian world…but if Islam and the Ummah (worldwide Muslim community) are in that future…there will be no future for the children.

Shalom through strength…
